Laurie Kingsley is a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC 35252) practicing in Santa Barbara County with an office in Los Olivos. She believes that helping others find their fulfillment and loving connections in the world is the ultimate goal of psychotherapy.
With an MA in counseling psychology with an emphasis in depth psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, Laurie has practiced psychotherapy with individuals, teens, families, couples, and groups for 25 years. Although her education is in depth psychology and she has considerable experience and training in family therapy, her approach is adapted to the needs and comfort levels of each person.
Knowing that each client is unique, education and experience are combined to provide tailored guidance and support for every person’s distinct needs. In addition, Laurie is an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing practitioner (commonly known as EMDR) with advanced training.
